PRESENTE

Always Here, Always Whole

2025 Annual Report

In a world that tries to fragment us, we show up whole.

In 2025, when uncertainty grew louder, MAF stayed present — for families, entrepreneurs, and communities navigating financial exclusion.

We didn’t just respond to crisis. We created pathways. We built belonging. We showed up, again and again, because presence is more than a promise—it’s how we practice justice.

The year in heartbeats

In 2025 we showed up through 13,461 touchpoints. Showing up looks different every time. It’s a loan disbursed, an immigration application processed, an app downloaded at midnight, a coaching session that answered the question someone was afraid to ask, a workshop seat filled, a grant check that kept a family together. Our impact isn’t just measured in numbers — it’s felt in the lives of families moving forward. As you scroll, watch the year unfold through moments of progress, resilience, and community power.

In 2025, 448 people entered MAF with no credit score and left with an average score of 665—with half exiting at prime credit. For Maria Carmen, building credit through community opened new pathways to financial opportunity.

Behind every number is a family refusing to disappear.

The voices
When Immigration Uncertainty Hits

For thousands of families, 2025 brought heightened fear about deportation, DACA renewals, and family separation.
MAF showed up with both immediate relief and long-term support.

When Income is Unstable

Small business owners and entrepreneurs are the heartbeat of our communities—yet they’re often locked out of traditional lending.
In 2025, we invested in their dreams with capital and coaching.

When Credit Is Out of Reach

Credit scores determine access to housing, jobs, and opportunity—yet millions are locked out
simply because the system doesn’t recognize how they already manage money. MAF Programs change that.

When it mattered the most

Meeting Urgent Needs with Dignity

In 2025, we stepped in to meet the urgent realities families are facing—expanding our support beyond core programs to respond with speed, flexibility, and trust. Through a range of grant initiatives, including ALMA, and the Bay Area DACA/Dreamer Legalization Grant Program, we provided direct financial relief for families navigating critical moments. This approach ensures people have the resources they need to move forward with stability and confidence.

“I feel very proud that I always have the strength to keep moving forward despite any adversity that comes my way.”

-Rosa
