Millions of immigrants are working on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, risking their health and well-being to keep our society going. And yet, the CARES Act left many behind. MAF is offering financial support to immigrant families left out of Federal relief.
Not eligible to receive a coronavirus stimulus check from the federal government
Earned less than $99,000 or had a total household income below $198,000 in 2019
Lost income due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

CA College Student Support Fund
College students have had their lives upturned by the COVID-19 crisis, interrupting classes, and life plans. MAF is offering financial support to help California’s college students manage their financial needs – whether that’s for tech, class materials, rent, or personal expenses.
Full-time undergrad at a California Community College, State University, or UC
Completed at least one year of coursework
Pell-grant eligible (Estimated Family Contribution below $5,576)
LA Young Creatives Fund
In partnership with the Snap Foundation, MAF established the LA Young Creatives Fund to offer financial support to members of the creative economy in LA County whose work has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Safer at Home initiative, or social distancing.
Be an LA County resident between the ages of 18 and 30
Earned income from the creative economy
Experienced a loss of income as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic
