The Immigrant Families Recovery Program
For many years, millions of immigrants have worked on the front lines. During the COVID-19 crisis, they consistently showed up to work risking their health and well-being to keep our society going. Even so, the federal government did not show up for immigrant families. With equity front and center, the Immigrant Families Recovery Program focuses on low-income immigrant families with young children who remain excluded from federal support. Through this groundbreaking program, eligible families will receive direct cash assistance for up to two years paired with financial services to ensure they have the relevant tools and resources to help rebuild their financial lives faster.
